Funding Information

The FEEE (Free Early Education Entitlement) schemes are available to all eligible parents and carers at Ashdon Childrens Nursery across the 38 funded weeks, between 8.00am and 5.15pm Monday to Thursday. There are no fees or charges payable to access the funded hours schemes. Additional non-funded hours of attendance and meals and snacks are however chargeable.

9 Months to Four-Year Old Funding (up to 30 hours)

If you are eligible for up to 30 funded hours per funded week then you must complete an online HMRC application. Here is a link to the application information:

Once you have completed the online application you will receive an eligibility code. Please complete a parent agreement form (more information below), adding your eligibility code, your NI number and how many funded hours per term-time week you would like to use at Ashdon Childrens Nursery.

Please note you do also have to reconfirm your eligibility every 3 months to keep your code valid, but this is straightforward if your circumstances have not changed, and we can provide you with details on how to do this. You will also receive an email from HMRC reminding you to reconfirm.

If you are not eligible for Free Childcare for Working Parents and your child is between 3 and 4 years old

If you’re not eligible and your child is between 3 and 4 years old, you can still get 15 hours of free childcare a week for 38 weeks of the year and all you will need to do is complete a attached parent agreement form (an eligibility code and an online application is not required for the 15 funded hours for three- and four-year-olds).

If you would like to claim funded hours and use them at Ashdon Childrens Nursery during, we will require a completed parent agreement form please.
